Simple Sandwich Bread

Simple Sandwich Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 – 3 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp Yeast
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Warm Milk or Water 110°F/37.8°C
  • 2 Tbsp Oil I use Olive Oil
  • 1 Egg

Instructions

  • Warm your water or milk to 110°F/37.8°C
  • Then pour in your dry active yeast, stir and let develop 5-10 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add all the other ingredients listed. (2-3 cups of flour, add more as needed.)
  • Once the yeast has developed you can add it to your large mixing bowl.
  • Using your dough mixing attachment stir the mixture until a dough ball forms. Add extra flour as needed.
  • Flour work surface area and knead your dough for 2 minutes. Until it is soft yet firm.
  • Spray or butter a 9×5-in loaf pan and drop your dough into for its rising time.
  • Pre-Heat oven to 375°F/190.6°C
  • Place your finished product in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake another 15-20 minutes.
  • You can poke a thermometer in and look for a temperature of 190°/87.8°C
  • Let cool and turn out of pan, cut and enjoy!
